More about this field

Who we place in retail

Retail runs on the roster. We fill shifts with sales assistants, cashiers, back of store staff, merchandising teams and goods receiving crews.

For the shop floor we look at language, presentation and the ability to stay calm with customers during peak hours. For the storeroom, stamina, accuracy and comfort with stock systems matter more.

For seasonal peaks we prepare a reserve of people in advance, so December or a promotion period does not rest on overtime from your permanent team.

Vetting and documents

We check experience, references from previous employers and readiness for shift work. For till work and stock responsibility that counts for more than a long résumé.

The HR side is entirely ours: employment documents, food handling clearance where relevant, briefings and a work permit where needed.

How long the start takes

Shop floor staff usually start quickly because training is short and happens on site. We schedule first shifts so a new person works alongside an experienced one instead of alone on the hardest day.

For a chain we start with one location, clear the feedback, and only then roll the same approach out to the rest of the stores.

How the cost is built

The rate covers wages, taxes and contributions, paperwork and administration. In retail the roster shape matters too: short shifts and evening hours cost more than even full days.

We show the calculation before the start, including how holiday pay works, so the season budget is not rewritten halfway through.

What working with us looks like

You give us the roster and the requirements. We fill it, keep timesheets and hold a reserve for sickness and no shows.

Every period we review how the team performs in store and adjust it if needed. Your store manager works on sales rather than personnel records.
